So I've got a few things I'm wishing for that will more than make up for the lost Wednesdays.
First, I wish I had enough cashola to purchase this lovely Temperley London frock. De-Gorgeous! Here's the rub, it's so new, it's not even for sale in stores yet. I snaked this from Ms. Temperley's website.
The next wishful object I'm lusting over is this fun forget-me-knot ring by Kiel Mead I found on Areaware.

The silver version (shown here) is only $50, not too shabby! They also have them in platinum (*swoon*) , gold, brass and powder coated colors! Uber-cool. Oh, and they have a necklace version too!
I also wish I was better at making decisions. As you might have read here, I bought a matching seed pearl necklace and bracelet for The Big Show. My dress fitting isn't until the 24th, so I'm not sure how it will all look, but I'm thinking it will work. I still need earrings though! I found these on Etsy from Genschi.

They're only $12.50, so I think I might just buy them and hope they match OK. They are pretty enough, right?
Last, but certainly not least, I wish that the acid reflux that has been plaguing me for the last two days would hit the road. I've been OD-ing on Tums and Nexium, to no avail. Methinks a bit of stress might be reining over The Thirty-Something Bride.

i LOVE the ring. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeletethe earrings are cute too. and for $12.50, you can't go wrong. even if they end up being for a different occasion.
best of luck with getting better - i can't imagine being gone for a month in the midst of all this!
All fab finds! Love the colors on the dress!
ReplyDeleteProtonix if you see a dr. about that reflux.
ReplyDeleteThe ring is divine and me thinks the earrings are just right. Nothing at the chtzke store in the mall?
You ready for a good, but not so good tasting reflux remedy? Apple Cidar Vinegar. Get the Mother's brand in Kroger in the All Natural section. Two tablespoons with some water. I take this stuff every morning and haven't been sick since I started. GREAT for acid reflux.
ReplyDeleteI love the vinegar idea...that works for almost everything! I always have a bottle. The decision making thing is tough...I keep saying if you are forcing a decision then it isn't the right decision only as I get closer I have just had to start making some decisions to get on to the next...
ReplyDeleteI love that ring too!
ReplyDeleteHello beautiful Temperley!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those rings in gold. I bought it for myself when I had given up on the idea of my boy ever proposing.
New to your blog - love it. P.S. about the reflux have you eaten anything new or random recently?
Love that ring! And those earrings are beautiful and such a great price! Hope the reflux leaves soon!
ReplyDeleteLouise, I assume you know that when reflux is acting up that you need to avoid eating for three hours before bedtime and raise the head of your bed on bricks or prop yourself up on pillows. I hate that I have to know this info.
ReplyDeleteLove the earrings! Especially at that price!
ReplyDeleteStumbled upon your blog somehow randomly. As someone who has horrible Acid reflux disease, and ODd on pepto bismol back in college (i still can't eat use it w/out wanting to throw up), i finally found the cure: oatmeal. I hate it. its disgusting. But eat it every am for a few weeks, and i guarantee you your tummy issues will suffice. And if you're feeling stressed - pick it up again. Totally makes a difference. And those instand low sugar quaker oatmeal ones - easy to make (i prefer it w/ milk, much yummier), and surprisingly yummy
